Lisa Johnson, CVT

Owner / Head Trainer

Lisa has loved animals since she was a little girl. Her passion for understanding the animal world had driven her into a career as a Veterinary Technician, which, later led her to become a Professional Dog Trainer. Together, with her husband, they have three dogs. A German Shorthair Pointer, Black Lab, and a Dalmation Mix.

Lisa graduated with straight A's from Penn Foster Career School as a Dog Obedience Trainer / Instructor and also went on to become a Canine Good Citizen Evaluator. She has spent many hours working in group classes and continuing her education on the most up to date, positive method techniques. She also spends time visiting the sick and elderly with her Therapy Dog Tinker.

Lisa is a Certified Veterinary Technician and has been in the field for over ten years. She has handled many animal related emergencies and enjoys seeing the puppies for their routine visits.

In addition, she has completed a pet first aid course from the American Red Cross, which further educated her on pet emergencies and qualified her to demonstrate the Heimlich maneuver, rescue breathing, and CPR. She has lectured on pet first aid to the public.

Lisa is a member of :

"Nobody can fully understand the meaning of love unless
he's owned a dog. A dog can show you more honest
affection with a flick of his tail than a man can
gather through a lifetime of handshakes."

Gene Hill - The Dog Man
